Kris Aquino, the mother of Baby James, is bringing his son to campaign rallies, teaching the 2-year old to campaign and/or exposing the kid for well, exposure and fame. There's her, urging the baby to shout "Noynoy" instead, he shouted the Villar's name, much to their embarassment.
Kris Aquino said in her tweet that she already apologized to her brother and sisters about the incident.
And while she was on it, camp Villar celebrated much - I imagine with grin on their faces. Manny Villar didn't waste time in adding salt to injury by saying, "It's surprisingly amusing to hear it straight from the babe's mouth…natutuwa ako dyan kasi ang mga bata ay busilak ang kalooban at 'di nagsisinungaling."
I wouldn't go as far as saying that Baby James "endorsed" Villar - though that seemed to be the effect. Both sides should understand that this is a 2-year old in the middle who does not know what he was doing - God forgive him.
Why did he say what he's not supposed to say? Quick response is this: Blame the Villar - ever so viral - ad campaigns. Those campaign ads that just stick to your eardrums and crawls in your head stay there and make camp. I wouldn't be surprised if the kid can sing, "Nakayigo ka na ba sa dagat ng basuya..."
Lessons learned?
- Thou shall not use a kid's innocence (and/or ignorance) for personal use. A kid is not a robot; a kid has a functioning brain.
- Thou shall not bring a 2-year old in out of town campaigns with hundreds of people and booming speakers for he/she shall be tired and be "naughty."
- Thou must pay for a jinggle composer who can produce ad campaigns that shall invade the ears, the brain and the subconscious.
